My weekend started at the Prairie Peddler Festival near Butler, Ohio. With 90-degree weather on the 3rd day of Fall we drive to Columbus for an evening of skateboarding near the Scioto River.

This was the first time that I really had a chance to use my new longboard – a custom built DB Coreflex Compound Flex 2 with 80mm Orangatang wheels and Bones Swiss bearings. It is an absolute dream for cruising and the bearings are nowhere near broken in.
